All iPhones that will get iOS 18. Time to replace your phone?

During the conference, Apple presented new operating systems that will be available for iPhones, iPad tablets and Mac computers. For smartphone owners, a big change will certainly be the introduction of many personalization options. iOS will finally come to greater freedom in arranging icons on the screen and more.

Apple will also introduce new options for using FaceID, for example blocking access to certain applications. You can read more about the new system.

We already know which Apple phones will receive the iOS 18 update. Quite likely, yes. Here is the list of phones with the new iOS:

  • iPhone SE (2nd and 3rd generation)
  • iPhone XR
  • iPhone XS and XS Max
  • iPhone 11
  • iPhone 11 Pro
  • iPhone 11 Pro Max
  • iPhone 12
  • iPhone 12 Mini
  • iPhone 12 Pro
  • iPhone 12 Pro Max
  • iPhone 13
  • iPhone 13 Mini
  • iPhone 13 Pro
  • iPhone 13 Pro Max
  • iPhone 14
  • iPhone 14 Pro
  • iPhone 14 Pro Max
  • iPhone 15
  • iPhone 15 Pro
  • iPhone 15 Pro Max

As you can see, the new system from Apple will come to many devices, and even older models, such as the 2nd generation SE or XR, which debuted in 2018, will not be omitted. However, this does not mean that older phones will use all the announced features.

Unfortunately, some elements of the new system will not be available to everyone. In fact, if we are talking about the much-announced Apple Intelligence, access to artificial intelligence will be reserved only for owners of phones with a chip. This means that we are only talking about the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models.

However, other users will be able to enjoy personalization, better security systems and improved performance of some system elements.

The latest operating system for iPhones should debut in September this year. It is then that the manufacturer will also present a new series of phones marked with the number 16.
