Broadcast in autumn 2009 the second edition “I have talent” achieved the highest average viewership among all 16 seasons broadcast so far. On average, almost 5.4 million viewers sat in front of TV sets.
During the casting episode with the participation of the brothers Leguns – 16-year-old then Marcel and Nikodem – For the first time in history, the regulations were broken. On the talent of teenagers they met earlier in the Vienna Choir Wiener Sangerknaben. The school operates with this choir, and Marcel and Nikodem quickly became the team’s soloists. They performed, for example, solo parties at a concert inaugurating the 250th anniversary of Mozart’s birth – personally congratulated them by the then US president George W. Bush.

Before the final, it seemed that nothing would take away their win – as favorites they were also indicated by Interia users. “I don’t get everything, but it intrigues,” commented in the program Kuba Wojewódzki.
Meanwhile, a small sensation and the main prize of 300,000 occurred in the finals. PLN was won by the player on the accordion Marcin Wyrostekjust ahead of the Legun brothers and another singer – Alexander Martinez. The jury treated Marcel and Nikodem quite sharply, accusing them of falsehood, routine and marketing.
“Mam Talent” has become a trampoline for such performers as Kamil Bednarek, Mateusz Ziółko, Sound’n’grace, Daria Zawiałow, Kaśka Sochacka, Dziarma and Paula Bishop. The last edition was won by a 12-year-old gifted voice Krystian Leśnik.
The Legun brothers disappeared from the media for years, only sporadically giving statements about themselves. During the pandemic they could not develop their musical passion – then they decided to launch the Music Loft music school in Warsaw’s Kabaty. A lot of parents bringing their children there perfectly remember the duo’s performance in “Mam Talent”.
Marcel conducts singing classes, and Nikodem (having, among others, cooperation with Zbigniew Preisner) teaches piano games and also continues his singing.
He helps brothers at school Gabriela Legun (also known under the maiden name Gołaszewska), privately Marcel’s wife. Soloist Silesian Opera In Bytom, he has Policy passport in the category of classical music (2024) and the silver medal “Merit to culture Gloria Artis”.
