However, before at PGE Narodowy, a group known from such albums as “Highway to Hell” Whether “Back in black”appeared on the stage The Pretty Reckless. Post-Grunge team commanded by Taylor Momsen – which many still remember by the role Cindy Lou in “Grinch”and which has long ceased to feel comfortable with the image of a good and innocent girl – he warmed up the accumulating audience.
Taylor has learned a few Polish words for the performance of the performance, which each time put people gathered at PGE Narodowy. It is hardly surprising – if “thank you” is common, yes “make noise” not necessarily. The leader of The Pretty Reckless jumped on the stage, sang, danced and felt the authentic joy of her presence in such a place. Even if the people who came to this team constituted a cosmic minority of those who came, I am convinced that AC/DC lovers could feel quite intrigued by what they have to offer musically.
Angus Young was here and rules
When an animation of a car rushing to Warsaw and entering PGE Narodowy appeared on the screens located on the sides of the stage, the stadium went crazy. Riffs “If You Want Blood (You’ve Got it)” they were the perfect start of the concert, but only with the following after it “Back in black” could feel the charisma of the team commanded by Brian Johnson and Angus Younga.
Brian Johnson was not able to play AC/DC concerts a few years ago and was replaced by for some time by Axla Rose? Forget about it – this man is currently in full strength, and his larynx is probably made of steel. I have no idea how to draw all sounds, plow his throat to the limit and continue to speak.
But despite the every efforts of the vocalist AC/DC, I must admit: it is a charismatic to pain Angus Young finally plays the first violin and no one – including Brian Johnson – has no intention to deny that it is different. I do not know a person who at this age would not like to have as much energy as a group guitarist. His age was revealed at most gray hair stretching from under the red hat.
The legendary school uniform, which is a characteristic image element of Angus, may suggest that this man never ages. I am able to believe it. The characteristic stage movement, “duck gait” and running around the stage were ubiquitous here. It was Angus who managed the songs, he finished each of them, running to the drummer and jumping to him while winning the chord ending the song. He was the conductor of all this.
All the biggest AC/DC hits were sounded at PGE Narodowy
The musicians made a cross -section throughout their discography, hooking all the greatest hits, including it “Thunderstuck”, “Highway to Hell”, “You Shook Me All Night Long” or even the title
A song from the debut “High Voltage”. Looking at the reactions of the audience, which jumped and sang, sharing each other with positive energy directed from the stage by the musicians, of course it would be fully enough. After all, nothing more than seeing and listening to energy live.
Bells, cannons, solos, fireworks – what more could you want?
AC/DC would not be themselves if they did not decide to diversify the events a bit. A great bell coming out of the stage during “Hells Bells” It was only a small addition with what happened later. After making a series of numbers with “Let There be rock” Angus Young decided to kidnap the audience for several minutes of crazy guitar solo. It was then that it was the most that controlling the public is his element. The moment when he entered the platform present to the protruding part of the stage, and she rose up, then Angus played his riffs lying on the floor and pretending to be with electricity, definitely everyone will remember for a long time. Even more stuck in the memory of those moments when he interrupted his solos to hear the excitement of people present at the stadium. And seriously I did not know who was playing better: the audience gathered at the National or the AC/DC guitarist.
After at least a dozen or so minutes of Angus’s play, it’s time for immortal “TNT”then on the side of the stage the cannons were highlighted. Everyone was well aware that it was the moment when it would happen “For Those About to Rock (We Salute You)”. Armat shots synchronized with the singing of Brian Johnson and riffs coming out from under the fingers of Angus Young were impressive. Not less than the fireworks that fired from behind the stage – unfortunately – the last song that evening.
AC/DC on PGE Narodowy – class in itself
Of course, PGE Narodowy is a very controversial object in terms of acoustics. There are some things that will not be overcome, they simply result from the construction of the object, because the auditory impressions are heavily correlated with where the stadium we are in. However, I have the feeling that the technical team has tried to pull the maximum from what they received. And I am genuinely glad that I was there, because who knows if there will be an opportunity to see AC/DC live live again.
Aiming at the concert I was convinced that due to the age of musicians or their various health problems, which information has been about in recent years, I will have to forgive them a bit. Fortunately, I didn’t have to.
After the concert, I talked to my friend and his 11-year-old son, who came to the concert from the north of Poland. Young – absolutely delighted with what AC/DC presented – he told me that the sentence “this concert was zebuby” would be enough. If that was not enough for my clients, I just have to copy this sentence on the 2nd page of the text editor in which I write this relationship. It’s true – that’s enough. Thanks to Titus for advice.
