Prime Video makes a documentary film about the life and career of Dorota Rabczewska, i.e. the Polish singer hiding under the pseudonym Doda. Despite the problem of finding the director – many creators differ from the artist’s vision – the document is already in the production phase. Doda emphasizes that she is honored that she was awarded her own film during her lifetime.
“Such a documentary still in life is one of the greatest nods towards the artist and the honors that can happen to us in life. It is a fulfillment of every artist’s dreams, everyone dreams about it” – says Newseria.
Rabczewska spends a lot of time on the set. The director of the production is Eliza Kubarska. The release date has not yet been set, but many people did not like this idea. Doda commented on the first wave of criticism.
“In addition to those wonderful emotions that have been accompanying me for several months, when we are on the set, there are also a lot of negative in connection with jealousy. Unfortunately, the announcement of this film also activated and re -awakened many haters and people who wish me very, very badly, with jealousy, with envy, with unlucky dealing with this About them, if they were part of my life, “he adds.
He was invited to the production plan, among others Radosław Majdan, who is the former husband of the singer. He commented briefly: I didn’t accept it. I do not want to participate in this circus (…) Probably this film will be another farce on her part. “Another former husband of Doda – Emil Stępień – is to make his film about a Polish artist who will reveal the facts unknown to her.
