The agency representing her announced Tate’s death. The actress suffered from a rare form of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. Its symptoms include progressive muscle weakness and atrophy as well as numerous complications. Tate used a wheelchair.
“Isabelle was passionate. She was a fighter. She never made excuses for her illness,” reads a statement from the McCray agency. “She also had a talent for music. She spent hours writing and recording songs with her friends and even released several of them. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was always the life of the party.”
