80s Star Cancels All Tour Dates! Heart’s Ann Wilson Is Seriously Ill

Ann Wilson announced that the group Heart was forced to cancel all concerts scheduled for 2024. The reason is the health problems of the band’s vocalist.

The 70s and 80s star revealed that she had undergone surgery to remove “something that turned out to be cancer.” Wilson added that she felt fine after the procedure, but doctors recommended that she undergo “preventative chemotherapy,” a suggestion the singer agreed to.

“My doctors have instructed me that I need to rest until the end of the year until I fully recover,” she said.

“I really wish we could play these shows. Please know that I plan to return to the stage in 2025. My team is working out the details and we will let you know our plans as soon as possible,” the artist informed. The singer did not reveal the details of the disease. She ended her statement with the words: “This is the last public statement on this topic.”

The “Royal Flush” tour is set to be rescheduled for next year. Heart was to be joined on the tour by musicians Def Leppard and Journey.

Heart was formed in 1967 in Canada. Over the years, Ann Wilson’s other constant member has been her sister, Nancy Wilson, who plays guitar. The band enjoyed its greatest success in the 1970s and 1980s.

Throughout their career, they have recorded 15 albums, selling 35 million copies worldwide. The group has had many hits. The biggest ones are: “Barracuda”, “Alone”, “Never”, “These Dreams” and “All I Wanna Do Is Make Love To You”.
