Bubba the Love Sponge

Todd Alan Clem (born April 23, 1966) is an American radio personality and businessman who presents The Bubba the Love Sponge Show on the radio station WWBA in Tampa, Florida, as well as the subscription service Bubba Army Radio.

Todd Alan Clem was born in Warsaw, Indiana on April 23, 1966. His father worked in a factory, and his mother, Jane Edmond, was a school bus driver and Warsaw municipal department director; he has a sister named Tara.

Clem formally changed his name to Bubba the Love Sponge Clem in October 1998.

Hulk Hogan

Terry Eugene Bollea (born August 11, 1953) is an American retired professional wrestler and television personality better known by his ring name Hulk Hogan. He is largely considered as the most well-known wrestling star in the world, as well as the most popular wrestler of the 1980s.

Details of “The Scandal”

A sex film involving Hulk Hogan and Heather Clem, the estranged wife of radio star Bubba the Love Sponge, surfaced online in April 2012. Gawker uploaded a brief video clip of the video on October 4, 2012. Bubba can be heard stating in the video that the couple may “do their thing” and he will be in his office.

He can also be heard saying to Heather at the end of the film, “If we ever need to retire, here is our ticket.” On October 15, 2012, Hogan sued Bubba and Heather Clem for breaching his privacy.

According to reports, Clem covertly videotaped his wife Heather Clem and Hulk Hogan having sex in his bedroom.

Hogan sued Gawker Media for publishing the audio, and in March 2016, a jury of six awarded him more than $140 million. Gawker said that it would appeal because it was “disappointed” that the jury did not hear Clem’s evidence, but eventually settled with Hogan for $31 million in November 2016.

On October 29, 2012, a settlement with Bubba was revealed. Following that, Clem openly apologized to Hogan. Hogan sued Gawker for $100 million for defamation, invasion of privacy, and mental distress, and was granted $115 million on March 18, 2016.

In only six days, the video became one of the year’s most hot topics, with Twitter and Facebook exploding with commentary and response to a compromising video from a great American figure. Google Trends was also thrown into disarray, with “Hulk Hogan sex tape” and “Heather Clem” both leading the list of most searched phrases.

According to the search engine, “Heather Clem” alone had over 500,000 queries. The Hulk has been on a depressing media tour in the aftermath of the tape’s publication. The clip has “completely turned his world upside down,” he claimed on NBC’s Today.
