Plot of the season:
Abigail Bianchi, a recovering alcoholic and attorney, will collaborate on a painting with her estranged father and half-siblings. Susin Nielsen’s series, created for SEVEN24 Films and Lark Productions, was given a 10-episode series order by Corus Entertainment on December 20, 2019. The show would be developed and set in Vancouver, British Columbia, and executive produced by Tom Cox, Jordy Randall, and Erin Haskett. It was announced in February 2020 that main photography would commence on March 2, 2020. Jewel Staite, Victor Garber, Zach Smadu, and Genelle Williams were named as the main cast members, all of whom are Canadians. Global stated in May 2021, ahead of the series launch, that it had already greenlit a second season.
