The wait is over for all fans of the series Narcos: Mexico, with the premiere of season 3, which will answer many questions that arose with the season 2 finale. The character of Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo (played by Diego Luna), was sent to prison, causing a vacuum in Mexico’s drug market and the cartels to divide power. Felix Gallardo’s departure from the spotlight opens the way for secondary characters to gain prominence, such as the Tijuana, Juarez, and Sinaloa cartels. This can only mean one thing: war between the Mexico’s drug lords, which can be seen in the third season finale of the Netflix series.

Which actors star in ‘Narcos: Mexico’ Season 3?

After Diego Luna’s departure from the series, as Netflix announced that the actor would not return to reprise the role of Gallardo, other characters gain importance.

José María Yazpik will return as Amado Carrillo Fuentes, a drug lord who seized control of the Juárez Cartel, and Scoot McNairy reprises his role as DEA agent Walt Breslin.

Alfonso Dosal will also return as Tijuana cartel boss Benjamín Arellano Félix, Manuel Masalva is back as his brother Ramón Arellano Félix, and Mayra Hermosillo as their sister Enedina Arellano Félix. Alejandro Edda reprises his role as Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán, Sinaloa cartel leader, Matt Letscher as DEA Agent Jaime Kuykendall, and Alberto Ammann as Cali Cartel boss Hélmer “Pacho” Herrera.
