This year, the iconic festival in Sopot changed its name to Polsat Hit Festival. “The introduced colors reflect the positive energy of the festival, joy and the variety of emotions that accompany it,” say the organizers.
The event will take place on May 24-25, and on stage we will see, among others: Margaret, Lanberry & Tribbs, Dawid Kwiatkowski, Roxie Coal, Kuba Badach, Cleo, Enejand they will celebrate anniversaries Golec uOrkiestra and Andrzej Piaseczny. There will also be a concert dedicated to artists who made their debut on Polsat.
“WODECKI / PATER” is a project that was created on the initiative of the organizers of two festivals: Wodecki Twist and Męskie Granie. They invited a guitarist, composer and music producer – Kamil Patera – to create new song arrangements Zbigniew Wodecki. Initially, the project was to be presented only during concerts at the above-mentioned festivals, but the audience's reception and interest in the project decided to release an album titled “WODECKI / PATER” published by Mystic Production.
When starting to work on the concert, Kamil Pater needed an impulse that would stimulate him creatively. He imagined a meeting with the young, debuting Zbyszek Wodecki, who asks for musical arrangements of his newly written songs. As a result, Kamil invited young artists such as: Victor Dyduła, Piotr Odoszewski, Dawid Tyszkowski Whether Wiktor Waligórawho, thanks to their youth, recalled the extraordinary energy contained in Zbigniew Wodecki's songs and became a reflection of Kamil Pater's concept.
In addition to debuting artists, you will be able to hear on the album Paulina Przybysz, Natalia Przybysz Whether Justyna Święs. The band of instrumentalists consists largely of musicians with whom Pater is friends and plays every day, and they are: Kuba Staruszkiewicz, Ola Walicki, Hubert Pilarski, Tomasz Ziętek, Andrzej Hands, Michał Jan Ciesielski, Anna Prokopczuk-Kwapniewska, Andrzej Rekas, Michał Wandzilak and Darek Sprawka. “Let this album be a guide to the world that connects generations, moves and inspires,” comments Pater.
The material will be heard on May 25 at the Polsat Hit Festival, and later also at the Wodecki Twist Festival (June 8) and during Męskie Grania in Gdańsk (July 19). During the concert, we will hear Wodecki's greatest hits, including: “Chałupy welcome to”, “Start with Bach”, “You'll find me again”, “My Grandfather's Maids” Whether “I like going back to where I was”.
