Why go to the cinema? “The Stuntman”, “The Spider's Nest”, “The Summer When He Was Gone”

Scenario “Stuntman” David Leitch was based on a series that aired on ABC in 1981-86. Ryan Gosling plays the role of Colt Seavers in the film, a seasoned stuntman who wanted to focus on his physical and mental health after leaving the industry. However, a series of events forces him to return to work when the star of a high-budget film directed by his ex-girlfriend, Jody Moreno (Emily Blunt), disappears.

While the film's ruthless producer (Hannah Waddingham) tries to keep the disappearance of star Tom Ryder (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) a secret from the studio and the media, Colt tries (with limited success) to get Jody back. The stuntman will be drawn into a conspiracy that turns out to be more dangerous than any stunt. The film, written by Drew Pearce, also stars Winston Duke, Teresa Miller and Stephanie Hsu.

Ryan Gosling's latest film is just hitting theaters, but it has been causing controversy for some time now. It's about a joke that appeared in one of the scenes. Hannah Waddingham's character walks into a demolished trailer and says, “It's like Amber and Johnny were here.” This is a clear reference to “trial of the decade” in which Johnny Depp went on trial with Amber Heard. Some viewers found the joke in “Stuntman” inappropriate. “It's 2024 and we're throwing jokes about domestic violence into action comedies!” “Boycott this movie,” they wrote.

Australian horror action “Spider's Nest” begins when, during a raging snowstorm, a mysterious object falls from the sky and breaks through the wall of a New York apartment building. It contains an egg from which an unknown species of spider hatches. The creature is discovered by twelve-year-old Charlotte, who hides her find secretly from her parents. The spider she feeds quickly grows to gigantic sizes, and its appetite remains insatiable. When animals and people start dying in the building, Charlotte and her loved ones face an unequal fight against the hungry beast. Do they have any chance against an alien creature?

Heroes of Hungarian drama “The summer when he was gone” there is a group of high school students from the same class who go to summer camp. Among them is 18-year-old Milan. There is also Anna and Milan's friend Dani. An emotional triangle begins to form between these three, which turns out to be difficult to resolve. The holidays are ending and everyone goes their separate ways. After a year, the class returns to the same place. But without Milan. Young people are trying at all costs to find answers to the questions: could the tragedy have been avoided? Why didn't anyone see what was happening to Milan? Why didn't he ask for help? How can the living cope with what has happened?
