In 2015, famous and popular voice actors – including: Ashley Johnson (Ellie z “The Last of Us”“Blindspot”), Laura Bailey (Abby from “The Last of Us”, Fiona from “Tales from Borderlands”) and Liam O'Brien (“Star Wars: Rebels”) – created “Critical Role”, a web series in which they played “Dungeon & Dragons” (a fantasy role-playing game in which players create their characters).
In the magical Exandria, in the first campaign, viewers followed the fate of a group of outsiders and losers who had to save the world. The popularity of the project grew from episode to episode until an animated series was finally made PrimeVideo. And then everything happened very quickly – “The Legend of Vox Machina” gained even larger crowds of fans. The creators signed a several-year contract with Amazon to produce subsequent series and films, including the animated adventure of the heroes of the second campaign – “The Mighty Nein”. These We should meet a group of heroes soon – as the Critical Role team announced on Instagram, they are currently working on dubbing episodes.
Currently, every Thursday, the actors run their third campaign titled “Bells Hells” on their Twitch and YouTube channels.
