The former singer of Ich Troje comments on Luna. What does he think about the representative?

Eurovision 2024 will start on May 7 and last until May 11. This year's edition will take place in Sweden. Representatives of 37 countries will take part in the competition, including: returning from Luxembourg after more than 30 years of absence.

She became the Polish representative Aleksandra WielgomasThat is Glowwhich will try to conquer Sweden with a song “The Tower”. Luna will perform in the first semi-final (May 7), and her competitors include: representatives of: Croatia, Ukraine, Ireland, Lithuania, Finland, Iceland and Cyprus.

Bookmakers are not enthusiastic about the Polish proposal. According to them, Luna is only 28th out of 37 countries to win. However, they predict that the singer should easily advance to the final concert.

Luna's trip to Eurovision continues to arouse emotions, and the closer the competition gets, the more and more strong opinions there are. One of the people who spoke honestly and brutally about the Polish representative is Maja Hyży.

“I won't lie here – I don't like the song, I saw her performance in Sweden. (…) I don't think we'll get too far this year, but of course I keep my fingers crossed for her because I know it's very “it was a lot of stress and it was a big success to get to Eurovision. I competed and I wanted to be there,” the singer admitted.

She also did not spare her comments about Luna Roxie Coal. After publishing the recording from the official rehearsal for the performance of “The Tower”, the winner Junior Eurovision 2018 she praised this year's representative. “I saw snippets on TikTok and it looks great, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for her,” Roxie said.

He also spoke favorably about Luna Michal Szpakwho represented Poland in the Eurovision Song Contest in 2016 with the song “Color Of Your Life”.

“I am very happy that she has this opportunity. I was supporting her very much. Immediately after the verdict was announced, I congratulated her personally. She and the rest were at the recordings of this program, we could talk. I am proud that such a decision – controversial for many people – was made, but I know that Luna will put on a great show there,” said Michał Szpak.

Now she has decided to speak out on the matter Justyna Majkowska. The singer was a member of the group Three of them in the years 2001-2003. The band represented Poland in the 48th Eurovision Song Contest in 2003 with the song “Keine Grenzen – No Limits”. The lyrics of the song were an appeal to stop wars in the world. The team then took seventh place in the final ranking of the competition. So far, this is our representative's second best Eurovision result. She was only better than Ich Troje at Eurovision Edyta Górniakwhich took second place in 1994 with its now-iconic song “It was not me!”.

The former singer of Ich Troje, Justyna Majkowska, commented on the song “The Tower” in one of the interviews and said whether she thinks Poland has a chance to win Eurovision this year.

“Luna is very characteristic and it can take a high place (…) I was already betting on her during the preselections. I even recorded a short video for my social media that I feel under my skin that Luna will be chosen,” Majkowska confessed in interview with Radio Zet.

Despite numerous words of criticism, an increasing number of Polish stars experienced in the music industry also praise Luna and her Eurovision song. It certainly helps our representative gain more self-confidence. Are these prophetic words and the Eurovision 2024 jurors will also appreciate the young singer's talent? You will be able to find out about it on May 7.
