“Minighun”: Marcin Dorociński in a moving role. His new film will open the prestigious festival

“Minighun” Jan P. Matuszyński according to the script by Grzegorz Łoszewski, combines an original concept and mystery. In an ironic way, it confronts us with loss, our own beliefs and spirituality. It is a moving and sensitive film that talks about the most important values in human life, giving the viewer what is most needed in our times – hope.

“Minghun” touches on the topic of losing a loved one and searching for the meaning of life with subtle irony. It is a story about the meeting of cultures, love and new beginnings.

After the loss of his daughter, Jurek (a moving role Marcin Dorociński) together with his father-in-law Ben (Daxing Zhang) decides to perform the Chinese minghun ritual, i.e. wedding after death.

The characters set off on a metaphorical journey full of emotional turmoil into themselves, the aim of which is to find the perfect eternal partner for the deceased.
