Marcin Dorociński is loud about his role in “Vikings: Valhalla”: “It's going to happen”

“Vikings: Valhalla” is a sequel to the gem of a series distributed by Netflix – “Vikings”. The story is set about a hundred years later from the events of the original production, where we could follow the fate of Ragnar Lodbrok and his children.

In the second production of the streaming giant, we focus on the adventures of Leif Eriksson, his fearless sister Freydis Eriksdotter and the Nordic prince Harald Sirgusson. Three heroes travel from Kattegat to England, and the fast-paced action draws us into the lives and disputes of the tribes of that time.

The sequel to the international production also includes a Polish accent. The role of Yaroslav I the Wise, prince of Kievan Rus from the Rurykowicz dynasty, was played by a popular actor – Marcin Dorociński. The artist has gained recognition thanks to numerous involvements in domestic productions, but for some time he has also been successfully conquering the foreign scene.

We could already see the 50-year-old Pole in another Netflix blockbuster alongside Anya Taylor-Joy. In “The Queen's Gambit”, Dorociński portrayed Vasyli Borgov, the Russian world chess champion.
