Joanna Jakubas invites you to “Flamenco”. A beautiful Polish woman unleashes the “power of a woman”

Original composition “Flamenco” (check!) Joanna Jakubas refers to the Iberian atmosphere of dance, melodies played with the accompaniment of castanets and guitars, which enhances the atmosphere of closeness between two people.

“A woman in flamenco is independent and self-confident, and at the same time full of delicacy and elegance. In this dance, as in my piece, her figure is a symbol – through her movements and gestures she expresses emotions and tells the story of life. When dancing flamenco, you do not need words, to express sadness, happiness, love or regret of separation. In flamenco, every gesture, every click of a heel, every look has meaning. It is a dance that releases the inner power of a woman and passes it on. When writing this song, I was thinking about the unique women I met on my journey the road, about the strength that lies dormant in all of us clicking our heels,” says Joanna Jakubas.

The singer, previously associated primarily with classical music (lyric soprano), has almost always been close to flamenco. She also learned this dance for one of the musical performances in which she took part.

The graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and the Royal College of Music in London has recently started creating her own, more pop compositions. He helped with production Marek Koscikiewiczfirst leader DeMono and composer of the group’s biggest hits. “Flamenco” was mixed and mastered at Abbey Road Studios in London.
