He has appeared in high-profile productions such as “Dune”, “Stuntman”, “Game of Thrones” Whether “The Fast and the Furious”.

“I always have instruments with me on set. My son plays drums and my daughter plays guitar. During the birthday of my assistant who loves the band Toolwe all decided to perform the song ‘Sober’. Then my love for the bass exploded. The moment I started playing, I felt a connection with this instrument,” said Jason Mamoa.

The actor who plays Aquaman recently decided to create a team. He turned his great passion for music into action. He was joined by two friends – Mike Hayes and Kenny Dale Borrill – with which the actor entered the musical world. The trio named themselves ÖOF TATATÁ.

Jason Mamoa and his band do not invent new songs, but play covers of giants of the global rock and metal scene. They perform hits Metallica, Black Sabbath and many other. The group played its first concert quite recently, in April this year. The performance took place in New Zealand and took place during the promotion of a film about the game Minecraft. The special guest of the concert was an actor Jack Black. Together with the members of ÖOF TATATÁ, he performed the song “For Whom The Bell Tolls” (Look!) from Metallica’s repertoire.

The band in which Jason Mamoa plays also had the opportunity to perform in several places in the USA. They recently held two concerts in California – at The Bungalow in Santa Monica and at the Sunset Room in Hollywood.
