The fourth season “The Boys” debuted on the Prime Video streaming platform on June 13. The new installment has eight episodes, the last of which will be available on the platform on July 18. In recent interviews, the creator, Eric Kripke, dispelled any doubts fans had about the characters’ fate “The Boys”.
“Season 5 will be the final season! That was always my plan. I just had to be careful until I got the final go-ahead from Vought. I’m excited to have the opportunity to bring this story to a bloody, epic climax.” – Kripke announced.
There is no end to speculation about what the final episode will be about and who will star in it. Although there is still a lot of time until the premiere of the fifth season, we have learned the name of the actor who we will probably see on the screen. Apparently it will be known from the series “Out of this world” Jared Padalecki, who admitted in one of his recent interviews that he had already talked to the showrunner. Kripke allegedly asked him if he was interested in coming to Toronto.
“(…) I said, ‘Absolutely. Just let me know if I should take my clothes off or not, because I need to start working out.’ We talked about what that might look like. It’s not written yet. He said it won’t be until 2025 – we probably won’t be shooting before January. I had a good time at his playground, so I’m happy to do it again.” – he said in an interview with TVLine.
Jared Padalecki would not be the first actor “Out of this world”who would join “The Boys”. So far, from the cast of the popular fantasy series from years ago in the Prime Video hit, we have watched, among others: Jensen Ackles, who played Soldier Boy in the third season. The other actors we saw in both productions include: Jim Beaver (Dakota Bob), Nathan Mitchell (Black Noir), Lesley Nicol (Connie Butcher) and Christian Keyes (Nathan Franklin). Jeffrey Dean Morgan appeared in the cast of the fourth season.
