Series “First love” has been broadcast since November 4, 2004 and tells the story of the adventures of the inhabitants of Wrocław and the small town of Wadlewo. So far, over 3,800 episodes have been broadcast, and each of them attracted crowds of loyal viewers. The series focuses on the lives, love and problems of everyday characters. Like every year, there will be a break in the summer, giving fans time to wait for new, exciting episodes that will return in the fall.
There are over 130 names in the permanent cast of the series. The actors who entertain viewers in the afternoons from Monday to Friday include: Aneta Zając, Aleksandra Zienkiewicz, Lukasz PloszajskiAnna Ilczuk, Paweł Okoński and Rafał Kwietniewski. This is a cast that has been in the series almost from the beginning and was created by the late second director Jerzy Owczaczyk, who also created the cast “The world according to the Kiepskis”, “Crime wave” and many famous Polish film classics.
It turns out that the distribution of roles could have looked completely different. In the initial castings, Łukasz Płoszajski was considered for the role of Paweł in the series, and Ania Ilczuk almost became Marysia in the series. The casting for the series lasted many weeks. All the roles were cast at the same time.
In turn, for the role of Kinga, the series director Okił Khamidov wanted to cast the girl he remembered from “Crime wave”. She was an extra who was very memorable to him. It took a while for the production to track down this young aspiring actress. Of course, we are talking about Aleksandra Zienkiewicz, who has been playing Kinga Żukowska for almost 20 years.
Up to now in “First love” Almost 3 thousand actors have already played. Some of them have been in the series from the very beginning until now. In addition to the aforementioned Łukasz Płoszajski, Anna Ilczuk and Aleksandra Zienkiewicz, there is of course Aneta Zając, who has been portraying the main character of Marysia for two decades.
“We put a lot of energy into doing something that we felt was cool and amazing. Honestly, we didn’t think we’d be on the air for so many years. People liked us, so it’s a great joy for us.” – said the actress in an interview with Interia.
In turn, when asked about the path he felt Artur had taken over the last few years, Łukasz Płoszajski replied: “My hero matured, grew up. This rebellious teenager with a cool haircut turned into a man who has to face many challenges” – he said in an interview for Interia, adding that Artur had not been responsible in the past, but had always been a man you could count on.
Among the actors who play in “First love” for almost 20 years, there has also been Rafał Kwietniewski, who plays the role of Bartosz Miedzianowski in the series, and Paweł Okoński, the already iconic Marian Śmiałek.
The hit Polsat series is currently on a summer break. The final episode of the season aired on June 21. The next episodes can only be expected in the fall.
