Eurovision 2024: Luna after the second attempt. What changed?

At the end of April Glow flew to Malmö, where it will be held this year 68th Eurovision Song Contest 2024.

On May 1, in the early afternoon, the second and last technical rehearsal of the Polish representative took place, presenting the song on stage. “The Tower” (check!). Dziennik-eurowizyjny.pl emphasizes that our team has made several corrections that may affect the reception of their performance. Modified, among others: Luna's outfit, which was criticized after the first attempt.

“The red horns are no longer so emphasized and have been changed to red and white shoulder pads, which look much better. The lower part of the costume has a band around the waist, which was missing in the first rehearsal. We can also see changes in the dancers' costumes. Jordan, Agnus and “Julia still has their faces covered, but this time using a different material, and each of them also has a crown on their head,” we read in the report.

He also praises the changes Mateusz Szymkowiaka TVP reporter who is a member of the Polish delegation.

“It's a stage story about life symbolized by a chessboard. Dancers with covered faces are shadows. It's about the people we meet in life and the places we visit in it – the good ones, but also the bad ones. It's all very good, as evidenced by the fact that in the Bubble Room during the Polish delegation the traffic stopped and everyone was watching the broadcast from the stage and applauding after the performance.

Photos from the rehearsal have been posted online, and in the evening, short videos will be available on the official Eurovision channel.

The first semi-final with the participation of the Polish representative will take place on May 7. Luna will compete for promotion to the grand final, among others: with vocalists from Croatia, Ukraine, Ireland, Lithuania, Finland, Iceland and Cyprus.

The Polish team includes choir singers Marta Dywicka and Maciej Starnawski (this is surprising – they will be hidden off stage during the performance) and three dancers. They prepared the choreography for Luna's performance Julia Żytko (finalist “You Can Dance – Just Dance”) and the British Angus Simpson and Jordan Garcia. He will direct the whole thing Jerry Reevewho was responsible for the Eurovision performance James Newman in 2021. The Briton doesn't remember him very well – he took last place without even scoring a point.

The above-mentioned Starnawski appeared in the program “I am what I am” by Michał Wiśniewski – competed with, among others, Ivan Komarenka and Paulla. With a song “It's Not A Game” project Starnawski & Urban Noiz was included in the preselections for Eurovision 2008 (took 10th place). Currently, he appears on TVP as a chorister at various events (including last year's festival in Opole).

Marta Dywicka, in turn, is a vocal coach (she works, among others, at “The Voice of Poland”), he also leads his team Only you.
