Cezary Pazura: That's why he didn't take part in Janusz Rewiński's funeral

Janusz Rewiński died on June 1. He was buried six days later, and his family and friends accompanied him on his final journey. The funeral was attended by, among others: Tadeusz Drozda and Zenon Laskowik.

However, the ceremony was not attended by actors known from the cult series “Kiler”, in which Rewiński created a memorable role of Stefan “Siara” Siarzewski.

The star of the series, Cezary Pazura, recently admitted why he could not be present at the ceremony. In an interview with JastrząbPost, he revealed that he currently has a very difficult family situation.

“There was only one reason. My father is in a very serious condition. Visits in the hospital are limited at certain times. I couldn't be at the funeral because I have my own problems, I carry my cross,” the actor assured.

However, the star fondly recalled his cooperation with Rewiński on the sets of “Killers”. “I had the most beautiful moments with him while playing in the film 'Kiler' by Juliusz Machulski, and then 'Kiler-ó 2-óch', because he created a model of a Polish gangster for those times, i.e. a nouveau-riche guy who is always cheating, but has unbelievable charm. He endowed this hero with charm,” Pazura argued in an interview in “Kanał Zero”.
