The film “Nobody 2” will be directed by Timo Tjahjanto, the Indonesian creator of such horror films as “V/H/S/2” and “V/H/S/94”. Filming will start in August this year. Apart from Odenkirk he will repeat his role from the first part Connie Nielsen. No other cast members have been announced yet.
The script was written by Derek Kolstad, Aaron Rabin, Umair Aleem and Odenkirk. The premiere is scheduled for August 15, 2025.
This is not the only action film in which Odenkirk will appear in the near future. “Normal” is also in production Ben WheatleyThe story follows Ulysses, who becomes sheriff of the town of Normal after the untimely death of his predecessor. When the local bank is robbed, the hero discovers that the sleepy town is hiding sinister secrets that involve everyone from the bartender to the priest.
Ilya Naishuller’s film was about a man who, during a robbery of his house, does nothing to stop the aggressors. His family later accuses him of not behaving like a real man. The second time he witnesses a crime, he reacts, which earns him the wrath of local gangsters. However, criminals do not know that this inconspicuous man suppresses a lot of anger and has the ability to use it in a brutal and effective way.
“Nobody” entered Polish cinemas in July 2021. It grossed over $57 million worldwide. Work on the sequel is in progress.
