Armie Hammer: Rumors ruined his career. The actor ended his silence

Armie Hammer opened up about the allegations that ruined his chance for further development in Hollywood. During the “Painful Lessons” podcast, Hammer spoke out about alleged cannibalism. He confessed that for him the whole situation is absurd and funny.

Hammer has been accused of inappropriate behavior by multiple women. Messages about the cannibalistic fantasies and fetishes he allegedly sent were also leaked online. As a result of the scandal, Hammer was fired by his agency.

“It’s almost as if a neutron bomb exploded in my life. (…) It defeated me, it destroyed my ego, it destroyed all the people around mewhom I considered my friends, and those who were not – left in the blink of an eye,” he admitted in the interview.

Despite the painful experiences, the actor tries to return to normal functioning. Although he knows that his acting career is definitely over, he tries to continue working in smaller film projects. He is currently writing a script for a film with a friend, but the details of the project are unknown.

But life goes on. I’m still here, living a healthy life, and I’m truly grateful for that“- he concluded.

Actor known from the films “Those Days, Those Nights” and “Death on the Nile” after the scandal, he avoided public statements. The only exception was a short statement in which he assured that he was innocent.

Although it was ultimately decided not to bring charges against him in this case, Hammer was given the title of “cannibal”. As a result of the whole scandal, all contracts with him were terminated. His marriage to Elizabeth Chambers also broke up.
